The Gibraltar Historical Association will host its second “Gibraltar Talks” of the season on Thursday, July 12 at 7 p.m. at the Old Town Hall (4167 Maple Street). The evening’s presentation on “Bird Migration in the Great Lakes Region” is a free co-sponsored event with Peninsula State Park.
Naturalist Andrew Schinkten will have bird specimens on hand and presenter Kim Greveles will share information about her work with the Wisconsin Stopover Initiative, a partnership focused on enhancing the habitats of birds migrating through the Great Lakes and Mississippi River regions. The community is invited to bring their questions and experiences with bird migration in Door County. View the full press release here.
